Responsible Gaming
Our Commitment to Safe Betting
At Green Tomato Country Buffet, we believe that betting should be a form of entertainment only, never a way to earn money or solve financial problems. We are committed to promoting responsible gambling and supporting the wellbeing of all our visitors.
Age Verification
In the United Kingdom, you must be at least 18 years of age to participate in betting activities. We strictly verify the age of all users and do not permit access to betting sites for anyone under the legal age limit. If you are under 18, please do not attempt to use betting services.
Warning Signs of Problem Gambling
Gambling should always remain fun and within your control. Please be aware of the following warning signs that may indicate a developing gambling problem:
- Chasing losses by betting more money to recover what you've lost
- Spending more time or money on gambling than intended
- Hiding your gambling activity or lying about how much you gamble
- Neglecting family, work, or other responsibilities due to gambling
- Feeling anxious or irritable when you cannot gamble
- Borrowing money to fund gambling activities
- Feeling that gambling is the only way to cope with stress or difficult emotions
- Repeatedly attempting to cut back or stop gambling without success
- Risking relationships, employment, or educational opportunities due to gambling
If you recognise any of these signs in yourself or someone you know, it is important to seek help immediately.
Self-Help Tools
Most reputable betting operators offer tools to help you stay in control of your gambling:
- Deposit Limits: Set a maximum amount you are willing to deposit within a specific timeframe (daily, weekly, or monthly)
- Loss Limits: Restrict the amount of money you are prepared to lose
- Reality Checks: Receive reminders during gambling sessions about how long you have been playing and how much you have spent
- Time-Outs: Take a break from betting for a set period
- Self-Exclusion: Temporarily or permanently exclude yourself from betting accounts
We recommend using these tools proactively to manage your gambling activity responsibly.
